Concluding reflections in the margins of the session “State sovereignty vs. migrants’ individual rights”, within the framework of the seminar “Changing trends and dynamics of EU Migration Law and Governance: a critical assessment of the evolution of migration legislation and policy in Europe”, organized by EDEM – Équipe Droits Européens et Migrations, University of Louvain (UCLouvain), on 17 November 2020. The paper is the result of a common reflection, but specifically paragraphs 1 and 4 are by Bruno Nascimbene and 2 and 3 by Alessia Di Pascale.
